Our Story

In 2011, during the end of our Peace Corps’ service in Morocco, we were asked by the Societé Safrán Taliouine if we could help import their saffron into the United States. After returning home, we created Tifout to bring their superior product as directly to market as possible. We ensure that the co-op receives the majority of the profit from every gram of saffron we sell.

Our partner co-op is certified organic through CCPB, an Italian agency with transfer agreements with the USDA.
